Free 38-Minute Video: The Divorce Process in New York State

The New York State Bar Association and the New York State Unified Court System both offer a video that explains the basics of the divorce process in New York State.  Narrated by Tony award winning actor Len Cariou, the video emphasizes what to expect during a divorce case and enhancing the attorney-client relationship.

“The Divorce Process in New York: What you Need to Know,” provides divorce law essential knowledge as well as domestic violence information.  Topics covered include child support, maintenance, equitable distribution and more.

While the information provided may not be relevant to every situation, it is solid foundational knowledge.  The video is not a substitute for identifying and working with a competent family lawyer.
